The FANSYNC Hall of Fame (“HOF”) honors “persons or entities representing contribution, character or issues of historical notoriety to sports fans.” On May 15th of each year, the Selection Committee of the FANSYNC Governing Board shall publish a ballot allowing members of FANSYNC to vote for one owner, one player and one “at-large” (corporate or media) for induction to The FANSYNC HOF. The period for member voting shall remain open until November 15 of each year. During the voting period, nominees shall be showcased on joinfansync.com and the FANSYNC social media platforms. All new inductees to the FANSYNC HOF shall be enshrined at our FANCON, each January in Las Vegas.
Additionally, on or before November 15 of each year, members may nominate themselves, relatives, friends, or others to the “Sports Fan Wing.” Each nomination must be accompanied by a photo (sports gear preferred) and essay of up to 750 words, describing the merits of the nominee. The Selection Committee of the Governing Board shall choose three finalists from these submissions, and members of FANSYNC will then have the opportunity to review, debate and vote for that year’s inductee to the “Sports Fan Wing.” Those selected to the exclusive “Sports Fan Wing” will receive airfare and hotel accommodations to the following FANCON in Vegas.
